WOW! Time has flown! Sorry I haven't updated in a while! The B's won 9 games in December! that's a whopping $45! I'll be donating this Friday! Also, The B's are 3 wins into January already! I've gotta try and update more often!

WOW 12 wins for November! Awesome job B's! That means I'm going to donate $60 to the Skin Cancer Foundation! I will donate next week when I get paid :)

The 10 game win streak was snapped yesterday :( but we did bounce back tonight with a solid win over the newly re-located Jets. that's 11 wins so far in nov. with only one more game until donation time.

Seems like the Bruins are on quite the win streak! the NHL record is 17, Let's see if we can beat that!

B's win! Tonight the Bruins defeated the Senators 5-3!

October Recap:

The B's went 3-7 in the month of October. The 3 wins came at the fall of Tampa Bay, Chicago, and Toronto two of which are O6 teams, so it make's it that much more worth it! So for the month of October, Winsforskins will be donating $16!
here's the math:

$5 per win x 3 wins = $15
+ $1 Bonus ( Goal pledge against MTL)
Leaving a grand total of $16!

Tomorrow Night, Thu Oct 27, 2011 The Boston Bruins take on our most HATED rival, the Montreal Canadians (Canadiens)!!!!!!!!!!!!  Not only will I donate $5 if the B's win, but I will donate an additional $5 for a shutout, and an additional $1for EACH goal that those Black and Gold Bears we love so much Score!

As much as I love them I'm hoping not to see a 10-0 Win, but a 3-0 win would be nice! :)

SHOOTOUT! Ty Seguin scores the winning goal in the shootout tonight in Chicago! Tim Thomas was Perfect in the shootout tonight, helping the Bruins get their second win which in turn helps me donate 5 more dollars!

I had someone ask me today what my plan for donating was. They were a little confused thinking I was going to donate $5 the night of every win. Here is what my actual plan is:

At the end of every month I'm going to add up the number of wins the Bruins have and multiply that by 5. and donate that amount to the Skin Cancer Foundation. I will then take a screenshot of the confirmed donation on the site, or of the e-mail receipt and post it on this blog as proof of my donation.

I thought about waiting until the end of the year, but if the Bruins amass enough goals that could amount to a hefty donation coming out all at once, besides donating at the end of every month, gives those who are following my campaign a little incentive to keep checking in, to make sure I'm following through with my pledge.
